Still alive!

A couple of weeks ago I posted about one of my childhood staples, Ecto Cooler.
Well, good news everyone! It’s still available on store shelves today as “Orange Lavaburst.” It’s lost its formerly Slimer-esque green tint, but it tastes just like I remember it.

For Tony

Tony and I went to the Apple store the other day as he ponders a switch to a Mac.
So, I just figured I post these two articles for him and anyone else thinking of moving over.

Step one: Take pictures
Take them everywhere in [...]

Where I do what I do

I had a couple of people on Twitter ask to see a picture of my newly cleaned office so here you go. If you’re like me, you have a fascination with people’s workspaces. (If you aren’t like me, that’s probably normal.)
I also submitted the shot to WhereWeDoWhatWeDo.com. I love this site. So many looks [...]

Interesting things I’ve found lately:
WhereWeDoWhatWeDo.com
My new favorite site. I have this odd obsession with seeing pictures of people’s workspaces. It’s even better with all the Apple products and cool desks around. When I get my office cleaned (finally) I’ll put mine on there too.
Los asks, Cute or Disturbing?
I say very cute with just a pinch [...]

A very cool ad campaign for Star Wars on SpikeTV.
This looks very interesting.
I love seeing churches come together.
Adobe launches Photoshop Express online.
I haven’t tried it yet, but the idea of a  stripped-down, but free version of Photoshop online is interesting. Just remember, it does not make you a designer.
Twitter saving lives.
Told you it wasn’t useless.

“A video movie could improve your life”

If this is fake, then I applaud the people behind it. Very funny. If it’s real….Tony, I think we’ve found the company to hire to get our video production rolling.
Sadly the website at the end of the video isn’t currently working.

Yes, you too can read

Chris Elrod linked to a site that will rate your blog based on readability and measures it by academic reading levels.
The good news? My blog is readable to a broad range of people.
The bad news? If you don’t understand what I write…well, it might be time to look into those remedial reading classes the nearest [...]

Awesome

This commercial featuring Michael Bay for Verizon FiOS is great for fans of his movies. The concept is so obvious, yet so creatively perfect. The idea that everything around Michael Bay’s house is rigged to blow at the press of switch is hilarious.

Can’t afford not to

A quick reminder to click the photo in the sidebar to the right to read write-ups of what’s happening with the bloggers in Uganda right now.
I was reading the stories today and thinking, “I need to check and see if we can afford to sponsor some kids.”
Then it hit me. I can’t afford not to [...]

A series on Having Tough Conversations from LifeChurch.tv.
Every leader should read this. I think most problems in church could be avoided with open and honest conversations.
Prodigal Jon. If you’re not reading him, you probably should be.
And finally this video that Perry Noble mentioned this morning on his blog.
