Today I did a shoot with Lee Ann of the Austin Christian Musicians Network, Joel of Above Grounds and Andrew of XL Radio Austin. The shoot is for future articles about the organizations.
We figured downtown Austin was the best place to get the Austin flavor we were looking for.

Love the shots! Looks as though it was a fun shoot and that is always a blessing. Really love the shot of the woman in front of what I’m guessing is the captial building in downtown Austin. Again, great shots with a wonderful feel 🙂

Shots look great, nice even lighting you had out there yesterday afternoon… you were right, downtown is a great place to do a shoot like that.
In the full shoot I like the wide angle shot of what looks like two of them walking out of the building. I am not always a fan of people walking out of the frame but I like the angle in this case. Great job.
A lot of that even lighting was achieved by shooting in the shade. All the shots above where they are on the steps of the cathedral was completely in the shade.
Getting good shoots of people walking is hard and it rarely works out for me, but I try it anyway on the off chance I get a good one. None of those shots really grabbed me from yesterday’s but I included a few anyway.
